In-home Design Consultation...Get decorating ideas as you walk and talk!
Within several hours, you will have a complete decorating plan written up for you to implement. It will include any of the missing elements that you'll need to create rooms you'll love such as: color scheme, paint, window treatments, furnishings, lighting, artwork and mirrors, accessories and plants. It will also include resources and ways to quality for a decorator discount on any major purchases. If you need help implementing any of the ideas, Mary can assist you further.

For any questions you might have regarding placement (i.e., where your furniture should go, pictures should be hung, etc.), you will want to consider the perfect solution of a room redesign. This is a separate service from the consultation because experience has taught us that beforehand, it’s nearly impossible to know exactly the best place for everything in the room just by looking at it. Instead, we discover the best locations by trying various options. For instance, in most living rooms, there are at least three positions we could give to a full-sized sofa. Sometimes it gets down to inches and degrees of angles on which position looks the best. Now, based on where that would go, everything else would play off it… the other seating, tables, piano, curio cabinet, bookcases, lamps, plants and pictures. If you love interior decorating and want to start your own design business, you can!  I’ll show you how to decide if this is right for you, what it takes to succeed, how to set up a new business, what you'll need for an office, what you will need for design tools, how to market yourself to get clients, and how to know what to charge.  Find out about the many different design services you can offer: consultations, shopping, redesign, store merchandising, relocation, real estate staging and holiday decorating. Business Coaching is convenient and easy to access: Coaching is via toll-free telephone and e-mail. You can even send pictures of rooms you have design questions about.  Just select the session frequency that suits you. The 30 or 60 minutes sessions can be scheduled between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. PST.
